I endorse this product soothie cushion for all my patients in the office. I have not only used it for my back, but I now use it as a form of physical therapy for my surgical patients and have had great feedback. It helps with inflammation and pain postoperatively and it is used to treat plantar fasciitis and ankle sprains as well as leg pain. I support this product and recommend it to everyone who is suffering with any kind of pain, it has both ice and heating components and it alleviates any discomfort in your body. When you think you have pain, think of using Soothie.

Who Soothie° Helps

Benefits

Some Like it HOT

Heat therapy dilates blood vessels in your muscles, increasing the flow of oxygen and nutrients. This helps damaged tissues heal.

Use it for up to 30 minutes at a time to keep your body from overheating. When your body returns back to its normal temperature, you can use it again.

Some Like it COLD

Cold therapy decreases inflammation and numbs sore tissues to provide relief. Cold therapy reduces circulation by contracting your veins. Once you remove the cold pack, your veins overcompensate and dilate, which allows blood to rush in. This brings necessary nutrients to the affected area.

Use for up to 10 minutes at a time every hour. Don't overdo it! Often, overdoing cold therapy can increase inflammation or swelling as your body overcompensates for the chill.

Some Like BOTH

It doesn't matter whether you've just finished a rough exercise session or whether you've got a chronic pain condition to contend with. Therapeutic contrasting speeds your recovery.

Contrasting hot and cold therapy, right after the other, forces your muscles to adapt to each form of stimuli. This promotes faster healing and recovery while relieving pain. People have been combining hot and cold therapy for thousands of years.

Just remember to always finish a contrast session with cold, and avoid open wounds. It's especially important to avoid contrast therapy after surgery, as it can increase your chances of infection and bleeding.

Features

Soothie° is wearable!

Most cushions, heat packs, and cold packs can't be worn. Or, if they can, they can only be used one or two ways.

But there are so many ways to wear or use your Soothie°.

Here are just a few ideas:

  • Wear it like a backpack to provide upper back heat therapy on a freezing cold day.
  • Slip it over your chair at work to turn it into an ergonomic dream.
  • Attach it to your knee for hands-free comfort.
  • Torn rotator cuff? You can wear it on your shoulder.
  • Attach it to your lower back to get lumbar support.
  • Use it as a travel cushion.

Easy to Use

How easy is it to use Soothie°? It's literally as easy as 1-2-3.

  1. Remove the thermapeutic core from its zippered compartment.
  2. For heat, microwave for 2-3 minutes. For cold, place in the freezer overnight.
  3. When the core is ready, reinsert it in the cushion's zippered compartment and place the cushioned side against the affected area.

Soothie° is non-toxic. It won't stain any of your belongings or irritate your skin. It's also easy to keep clean: the cover can be spot-cleaned and laid flat to dry.
